It is that time of year again when whenever the boys say they want something I say, "Maybe you should put it on your Christmas list." Blake informed me that he wants a cell phone. Not just any cell phone, but a black, boy one. Girffen wants a MILLION dollars in ones. I told them that I didn't think 6 year olds got phones, and that I was pretty sure Santa didn't give money, but for them to go ahead and ask anyway. But to just remember that "you don't get everything you ask for". To which Blake responded, "Well that will be the only time that ever happened."

Griffen
Lunch Boy by Day,
Soccer Star by Nite!
Griff was so excited that he got to serve lunch at school. He will be doing it for the whole week. He had his first indoor soccer game of the season on and he scored 2 goals. What a kid!

This morning as Griffen was getting ready for school, still in a sleepy fog he said, "I wish we didn't have to learn. I just wish we could be free." It cracked me up.

Blake sold his Thomas stuff to Marchelle today. I told him he had a check for $20 and he said, "But I only wanted to take cash."

And Ben is a spoiled brat who wears his mamma's bra.

We took the kids to Peach Days this weekend. They really enjoy it. The rides, the food and all the stuff to buy. They each got $20 to spend how they wanted, so they climbed the rock wall, got drinks at the car show, Blake bought a couple "diamonds" and a sword, and Griff got a "diamond", a sword, and a light-up mouth guard. They went on the Ferris Wheel for the first time, and it scared them a little. Griff went on the Ring of Fire for the first time, and he screamed the whole time.
Blake and I were walking around the kid rides and he said:
"You are such a good mom. You're the best."
me: "Oh, Blake. Thanks!"
Blake: "I'm serious. It's true. You're the best mom I ever had."
How cute is he?

Griff and some of his friends were playing and making a bunch of noise in the garage. I went to see what they were doing, and this is what I saw. BOYS!
