Oopsie!

I feel like the best mom ever!!! We were going to Griff's game and there was a hill Blake wanted to heely down. He wanted me to hold his hand, but I was like, "Oh, you can do it! If you get going to fast, just run out of it." Well he got hauling ass. I didn't think he would go that fast. He fell and was just screaming, "I BROKE MY ARM, I BROKE MY ARM!!!" We stayed for the game and when we got home he seemed to be doing better, but it was pretty swollen. Finally around 9 I decided we better just go to the ER so we could know for sure. We got in there and Griff and Blake started playing catch. I was like WTF???? I thought your arm was broken. So then I was mad because we were wasting a perfectly good ER visit to play catch in the waiting room. But, it really was broken. He just has a splint for now and will get casted later. This is the second time he has broke this arm. Blake just thinks it's a miracle that at least he can still play Halo and suck his thumb.

After such a long day he needed an eye mask and some peace and quiet while he slept. What a kid.

Blake and I went on a date to see Race to Witch Mountain. It was pretty good. Also........

For Boys Week at their school some guys from a local ATV shop came and demonstrated how to ride safely. Blake was obviously more interested in whatever was going on to the left.

After church on Easter the boys come home to a scroll that has been left for them in the back yard.........Then the hunt is on. (And check out the Easter Bunny's mad rhyming skills)
Every year for Easter, on the Saturday before we head to Promontory for our annual Chicken Easter Feast. The Easter Bunny has came and left eggs for the kids to find on the mountain before we get there. It's so nice of him to take time out of his schedule to do that for us.
I am pretty surprised that no one has fallen off the top yet. Knock on wood.
Griff like to hike around and look for stuff.
Blake likes to take his chicken up and eat it in the cave.

And they ALWAYS manage to find a few lizards. It's a fun day.

Coloring Easter Eggs! YAY!!

I swear we did this before Easter, I am just now getting around to posting about this, one of my favorite holiday traditions. We usually buy 3 kits to try out, but the one that always works is just the plain old color dye and wraps, and stickers. We had a fancy foil kind this year that was a complete failure.

By the time we got done with soccer, got home, realized we didn't have enough eggs, go to the store, (where Blake was rolling away in the cart down the hill in complete terror and all Griff and I did was laugh) get back it was already 9:30. But they had to be done.

I think Blake likes it the most. It keeps his attention the longest.

Then his little buddy came over,
(I forgot they were having a sleepover) and
he wanted to dye eggs too, so we just made it a party.
Jerri came over and we finished the eggs and made cd's.
By the time we were finished it was around 3am.

And just so everyone is clear, Griffen was there, he just spent most of the night texting.
