Sundee Go to Meetin

We are trying to go to church 2 times a month this year.  So far, we have gone 2 times total.  Late, both times.  Griff can never remember how to tie a tie and both times Ben has been at work, so we are frantically searching YouTube on how to tie a tie at 10:58.  During lunch I ask them what their lessons were about.  Griffen did not want to talk about it.  He had a sneaky little grin on his face.  After insisting he tell me, he let out the longest sigh, probably 45 seconds.  Seriously, he had to take a breath to keep sighing.  Then finally, "It.........was about.........(siiiiggggghhhh) listening to your mother."  I jumped up, did a happy dance, played some air guitar.  After I sat back down, I calmly asked,  "Why?  Why should you listen to your mother?"  Reluctantly, his answer was, "Because they're right 99% of the time."  Best lesson reveal ever.  Brittni's 'It was a review' standby is classic, and will be tough to top, but this was right up there.

Later that night Blake came in my room and said, "I don't know what my purpose is."
Me: What?
Blake:  Our teacher says everyone is here for a purpose, but I don't really know what I'm doing here.
Him and me both.

We went to see John Carter.  It was good.

I am doing Weight Watchers with Brittni and my mom.  :'(  I just want to EAT!  Today is weigh day, and if I'm a winner, I will be upset.

After listening to Cher's Just Like Jesse James Blake said,  "Well, I guess that girl really hates Jesse James." :)

Things That Make You Go Hmmmmm?

Blake asked me if the teacher on Survivor has infinite life because he always looks the same.  I think he is on to something.

120 Months Old

Blake is 10!  How did this happen?  I let him pick what kind of cake he wants me to make him, and this year he said, "Rainbow"  He was totally impressed.

He wanted a bike and Pokepark for the Wii.  He also got his own Wii controller because we only had one.  Grandpa Don and Grandma Kim took him to a restaurant of his choice, and he picked Bejing Buffet.  They also gave him $10.  Grandpa Alan and Faye gave him $20 and a card.  Great Grandma and Grandpa Hunsaker sent him a card with $10.  I was asking him for some birthday gift ideas and he said, "Meat!".  Brittni totally delivered!  Jerky, bacon, sausage, and ham.  Best present ever!

He thought it would be fun to have a party at Toads with his buddies.  They had tons of fun.  Zeke, Kyler, Chayden, Tanner, Keaton, and Seth were his guests.  That is Zeke in the picture with him.  He gave Blake a sweet card that he colored and some money.

10 years of the cutest, sweetest, easiest, nicest boy I have ever met.
(It's a tie between him and his brother)
Seriously, does it get any cuter??? No, it does not.

Which brings us to 10 years of freakin awesome cakes.  Nemo, Thomas, Grave Digger, Darth Vadar, Transformers, Spongebob, Picachu, Angel Food w/cream cheese frosting, and Rainbow.

Birthday dinners are always the birthday boys choice.  He has picked pizza with salad and ranch, McDonalds, turkey burgers with homemade fries, hot dogs, chips and salad, scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes AND waffles.  This year he wanted French toast, eggs 'over hard' and MEAT!
