Blake's top tooth has been a little loose for a while and he decided it was time for it to go. This might be weird but I love pulling those little suckers out. So, I would wiggle it for a while, then he would, then I would, then he would. This went on for about 3 hours. It was getting pretty loose and he said he didn't want my help anymore. I asked him why and he said, "Because this will be the first one I pulled out all by myself." Fine. A little while later I said, "So, want me to help ya?" and he goes. "No! It's my tooth. Pull out your own!"

We had a pre-Halloween party at our house. It was pretty fun. I was Wonder Woman (duh), Blake was Iron Man, Griff was a Ninja Rapper (but didn't stay dressed up for the party), Karyn was a Pirate Wench, Cassidy was an 80's chick mommy (see baby O), Gunnar was Hugh Hefner (for some reason he's not in any pictures), Cooper was a Werewolf, Jensen a Star Wars guy, and Wyatt was Indiana Jones. We had Halloween themed food, played Guitar Hero, and watched Ichabod Crane.

I told the boys that if they had good reports at their parent/teacher conferences I would take them to PF Changs for dinner. We didn't really want to drive that far today, so we said we could try Takara instead if that would be ok with them, and it was. So we were off to let the kids try Sushi.

When we got there and sat down, Blake looked up at the bar (they make the rolls back there) and he goes, "Hey! Are those guys Mexicans?" and Ben goes, "No, they're Japanese." So Blake says, "I know! I've seen him before! He is in 'Wendy Wu, Homecoming Warrior"! I'm going to go get his autograph!"

They liked the edemame and the egg rolls the best. They also got teryaki chicken and beef. They were pretty good with the chop sticks though. They had the little helper things, so did Ben. But since they weren't huge fans, I told them we could still go to PF Changs. So if anyone else wants to join us let me know. We might as well fill a car up if we're going to go down there!

Dinosaur Park

On Wednesday, me and the boys, along with Brittni, Caleb, my mom, and Grandma Babe went to the Dinosaur Park. I haven't been there in 8 years or so and it has changed a lot. The boys loved it. Caleb, not so much, until we got outside. There was a stuffed buffalo thing that Blake would NOT get by because he thought it was real. There is a place upstairs that has BIG pupped dinosaur things and Blake thought they were real too. It could have been because some old man told him they were, so thanks, old guy! He took me up there and as we got to the doorway to go in and see them he pushed me (freakin hard) and said, "YOU GO!" It was so funny.
Outside Griff and Blake dug for dino bones. Griffen wants to be a paleontologist when he grows up. But I can't convince him that he won't get to keep what he finds, so maybe when he comes to that realization, he will switch career paths. They had the outside decorated for Halloween. And they had headstones for me, my mom, Brittni, and Blake. Weird??

Party Animal
Griffen had a sleepover at a friends house last week and they stayed up ALL NIGHT. That morning he went to his cousins football game and just collapsed to the ground and slept under some chairs for the whole game. Then he had to go play a soccer game. (which he scored 2 goals in:)) After that they had a party to go to at the bowling alley. He was so tired. I've never seen him look like that. He has always wanted to stay up all night, but I don't think he'll do it again. At least not for a while.

Tonight at dinner Griff said, "Blake look at that huge spider behind you!" Blake slowly picked up every piece of steak he had and turned around only when all pieces were gripped in his chubby little hands. I was all, "What are you doing?" and he said, "Griff was just going to take my steak." Griff exclaimed, "Dang, you're getting smart!"

It is that time of year again when whenever the boys say they want something I say, "Maybe you should put it on your Christmas list." Blake informed me that he wants a cell phone. Not just any cell phone, but a black, boy one. Girffen wants a MILLION dollars in ones. I told them that I didn't think 6 year olds got phones, and that I was pretty sure Santa didn't give money, but for them to go ahead and ask anyway. But to just remember that "you don't get everything you ask for". To which Blake responded, "Well that will be the only time that ever happened."

This morning as Griffen was getting ready for school, still in a sleepy fog he said, "I wish we didn't have to learn. I just wish we could be free." It cracked me up.
Blake sold his Thomas stuff to Marchelle today. I told him he had a check for $20 and he said, "But I only wanted to take cash."
And Ben is a spoiled brat who wears his mamma's bra.
