11-1
Blake is raring to go, dressed in one of Griff's old Disneyland shirts, "jeans", and his R&O hat. We made it to Mesquite and stayed at the Oaisis. We were walking back to our room after dinner and Blake was trying to prove that he could get us back all by himself. We were walking down the corridors and a guy came out of his room, and Blake screams, "Monster!" and takes off running. It was so funny. The guy was all, "I didn't think I was that scary.

11-2
At DelTaco (for breakfast), they had a NFL sticker machine that the kids get stickers out of. Blake went first and got a Cowboys one! Then Griff went and he got a Broncos one! It must be their lucky day.

Blake puked. So much for lucky day. He puked in the Cheeto Puffs. Bummer. He thinks it's the shrimp he ate last night. I think it's from the TV. When we got off the freeway and onto HWY 76, Blake machine guns every car that drives by. It's his own little tradition. Griff can't wait to get there so he can boogie board.

11-3 Disneyland!
It was perfect weather, and not at all crowded. Griff's favorite rides were Space Mountain and Splash Mountain. Blake's was Mr. Toads Wild ride. He said, "I liked the part when we were all in hell and it was all hot." Ben liked Space Mountain, and I love it all! We watched the Jedi Training camp while we had lunch. We watched the parade at the end of our day. FUN!

11-4 California Adventure!

Today Blake said he is never taking his kids to Disneyland because it's way too expensive. We went to the Bugs Life 3-d show and it scared Blake to death. I forgot about his little rear of bugs. Oopsie! Everyone loved Soarin Over California, The Hollywood Tower Hotel, and California Screamin. I also had my first conversation with a celebrity. It was Travis Barker. I said hi to him, and he said hi to me. It was so weird! Griff loved the rides from Toy Story that you shoot at. The boys liked getting pennies from the penny smashing machines. We rode everything at California Adventure, and hardly ever had to wait in line. After that we went back and rode our faves at Disneyland and did some shopping.

11-5 Pool and Beach Day
Griff and Blake had fun collecting shells at the beach. Griff only wants to keep the whole ones, but Blake insists, "A good man never leaves a shell behind."

11-6 Pool and Beach!
There weren't very good waves for boogie boarding unless you went way far out. Griff didn't go all the way out. I think it has something to do with Shark Week. Blake usually wont get in the water, but he did this year. It was fun. We went to the Farmer's Market that they have there every Thursday night. It was kind of like the fair, but with way better booths. Griff said we should "bring our canopy and all the stuff we don't want because we might as well make some money while we're here". Ben and I went to Harney Sushi for dinner, and the boys had their Mac & Cheese served to them poolside. They thought that was awesome. While they were in the pool they kept fighting, so Ben told them if they didn't stop, they would have to get out. A while later Blake goes, "Griff pinched me!" so Ben says, "K, then get out." And Blake goes, "But it's ok. It felt good."

11-7 Fishing/Beach
Ben and Griff went deep sea fishing and Blake and I had another relaxing day at the beach. Loved it! After Ben and Griff go back, we all went down to the beach. I wanted Griff to come look at something so he came over and jumped over a rock. He apparently didn't jump high enough, because he caught his little toe on it and broke it. It was so sick! Ben took him to the hospital, and while they were there they must have gave Griff some good meds, because he was pretty wasted when he got back. He talked and talked and talked. He tried to shut off a lamp 4 times before he gave up, and he was trying to wipe fingerprints off the TV with his sock. He was the only one who could see them.

11-8
The last day. We spent it at the beach. Later that night, we went down the pier and had dinner at Ruby's. A guy that was fishing there caught a starfish, and it was pretty cool.

We had the best time and we are so glad we were able to go. We heart that place!

That was fun to read about. Journaling your trip is a good idea.
